Our Timeless Tuesday Challenge over at Flourishes this week is to focus on "the written word". For me this meant choosing the saying first and designing the rest of the card around it. I used an SU punch and stamp to frame the words and then used "Butterflies and Blossoms" (Flourishes) to make the bg paper. I love the look of the frothy organza ribbon. Lately I've been making more of my bg paper as I find with the designer paper you use most of a sheet to cut out the small square of it you like the best. If you make your own you can place the blossom, text, or whatever anywhere you like. For this bg paper I stamped the Blossoms and then masked them. Then I stamped a flourish stamp and Hero Arts french text in distress ink Old Linen. Lastly I stamped a few butterflies from "Butterflies and Blossoms" in 2nd generation Walnut Stain. Phew! that was a lot of directions but for it's simple look lots of stamping took place here.

Wow, your DP is really gorgeous Elizabeth - the whole card is exquisite and elegant! I love the sentiment in the middle and your beautiful ribbon and the colors are very pretty. I know I already said wow, but here's another wow!
