I made this for this weeks sketch challenge. I've been traveling this week to visit my husband's family in North Dakota, so I was excited to bring out my stamping stuff and get a chance to make a couple cards while drinking lots of coffee and chatting with relatives. It turned out to be our twin cousin's 13th birthdays and I needed to come up with a guy card and a girl card. I really miss my Sizzix and those embossing folders, but I found a couple new folders at the Hobby Lobby, here in Bismark, and I'm excited to use them when I get home. I stamped the new leaf from the Verve set, Sunny Days, as a background and colored my pre heat embossed forest scene with Tombow markers. I added a gingham ribbon and a strip of embossed turquoise that I had stuck in my travel kit. I ended up leaving off the bottom panel of the sketch, it just didn't work out.

Nice masculine card. I like the teal with the gingham ribbon.
