My mom is celebrating being halfway through her 2nd chemo drug 4 months into her battle with breast cancer and I thought I'd make her a card to commemorate God's goodness. I'm trying to use some of my older sets to enjoy the ones that I already have on hand so I broke out this old hostess set. I used the poppin' pastels technique and then sponged the edges on the berries panel and did watermark leaves on the other. The sentiment panel is embossed with the square lattice ef and for added interest I embossed the card base with the framed tulips.

Gail, what a lovely and touching card for your mom. All my good thoughts and prayers go to her. Love the beautiful, serene colors of your card and the soft coloring of the image...in pink. I'm sure you are a huge help and support to her.

Gail, I had been wondering how your Mom was doing...what a beautiful card for her, I love the softness of the image and the bg embossing, but especially love this wonderful sentiment...which I hope encourages your Mom and yourself as you support her.
