Our Timeless Tuesday Challenge over at Flourishes was to use pink, a button, lace, and ribbon. I liked my plan for this card but didn't like the colours when I was finished, I will redo this with bright block colours - same layout. I find the two shades of pink to be kind of dated (old lady).
I glued the orchid spray on the top of the dp and cut around the top edge. It's hard to see in the photo but the inside panel is a pewter colour. What appears to be red is actually a deep burgundy. The silver lace was white lace painted with silver acrylic paint.

Beautiful layout and card. The flowers are gorgeous cut around for the top of the card. Pretty lace trim - never thought to paint it - great idea.
