The inspiration challenge today featured the website Patina which had LOTS of great material for inspiration. I chose these vases http://www.patinastores.com/catalog/...les-vases.html and used a favorite technique to make the card. I punched the circles in Pool Party, Shimmer White and Island Indigo then glued them onto a black bg. I added some black gel pen highlights on the edges then ran the piece through my Big Shot in a square lattice ef. I punched the Decorative Label and added white gel pen highlights then layered a modern label with a word window with embossed black sentiment. Layered this over a piece of Whisper White Organza ribbon for a card that could go either feminine or masculine.

What a wonderful job putting your inspiration onto a card! I like how you did the faux stitching (at first I thought it was needle and thread) and used your gel pens!

Gail, I knew the vase that was your inspiration immediately. I would have picked it too, but had no idea how to execute it. Your card is WONDEFUL!! Love how yours looks like a darling applique quilt. GREAT job!
