First, it is for FLLCNOEL16 where our challenge is to be inspired by a Christmas carol. Throughout my youth my mom and dad put up a silver tree with all blue ornaments. When I think of nostalgic Christmas trees my memory always paints them silver. I might add as soon as I left home and got to do things my way I started to buy 9 foot fir trees covered with angels, harps, birds, and other Victoriana.
The second challenge is the Flourishes challenge to create a CAS card. I made one already for this challenge but didn't like it. Obviously, I had do redo my efforts, and now I'm pleased.
The branches are stamped and embossed in silver, cut out, with 2 layers of MS chunky glitter. The ornament is silver embossed and painted with H2O's. The silver edged cs is also eb powder.

Elizabeth,
Beautiful card and I love the way you matted it on the pretty CS. The ornament and pine branch are so pretty in the silver/blue - lovely and elegant! My grandmother always had a silver (aluminum tree) with blue ornaments, but my parents always had real trees with multiple types of ornaments and colored lights.
