I did a crackled paint technique with school glue. Fun and easy. The hardest part is the drying time.
Directions: Paint chipboard with a base color of acrylic paint. Let dry. Now paint it with a layer of white school glue (think Elmer's). Wait a few minutes until the glue gets tacky and then paint top color (the one that will crackle) on top of the glue. Let dry overnight and you will have a crackled chipboard to work with. The amount of glue you use, weather conditions, the amount of paint on top all affect the way that it crackles, so experiment.

Gorgeous card, with warm, rich colors and delightful accents! The sparkles and glue technique was well worth the wait...I hear you though about the waiting....ugh! Beautiful textures and great use of the twine!
