This is for Vannessa's Brayered Sunset Challenge (AUG11VSNMINI5).
I chose the time just after the full glory of sunset, when the last bits of light are leaving the sky and the stars come out. (My stars are a scattering of white EP.)
Things I learned from this card:
1. Use glossy cardstock, it makes a difference.
2. Work it, baby! Move that ink around!
3. Use Staz-on...water-based inks don't dry for EVER!
4. I have absolutely no idea how to embellish these things. LOL!
5. Cat hair is not an acceptable embellishment!

Wow! gorgeous!! I love the sky
...and I agree with you...embellishing this type of technique is hard, I like your ribbon. I love when I see how others build the panel into a bigger card but once you make the beautiful sky , I have a tough time cropping it down afterall.

Oh I love the coloring! And what a great way to use this stamp set! I am totally not a pink person but I seriously need to get me some pink stamp pads! Definitely added this to my favorites!

This is just stunning! I love the colours you used for your sunset and the little stars are perfect. I totally agree embellishing this type of card is hard, but who needs to when it's as beautiful as this! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

You made me laugh with that cat hair comment!!!! Great comments on how to do this - all are true (not sure that cat hair can't make an embellishment though - I am sure Pat Smethers could do it with flair). This scene is absolutely gorgeous - into my favs for sure!!!!
