Finally managed to create a card in honour of my Punchie Pal Marie's reign as our Queen for the Day a few weeks ago (momof5sons).
When looking for a card to CASE, I just picked the one she sent me for my St. Patrick's Day Birthday off the shelf in my Rubber Room and set to work...
The dsp is a digital file from the My Digital Studio "Beyond the Garden" paper pack download by Stampin' Up. I printed it on brochure paper so it has a nice glossy finish. I stuck to Marie's layout fairly closely - used several punched layers and die-cuts (when honouring a Punchkateer that's essential). Ran the Pacific Point layer through the Cuttlebug using one of my Impressablities to give it texture; instead of twine through the buttons I cut a narrow strip of cardstock and wove it through; mimicked Marie's stitching by adding piercing around the sentiment; used a die-cut swirl instead of the twine bow in the top left. Some Stickles in the flower centre give it a bit of sparkle.

Izzy, you are finally getting to make a card....again. Hope you got to camp without experiencing rainy weather. I love your digital dsp...just gorgeous. And, a pretty swirl. Punches everywhere! Shh...maybe I can get that beach shell punch around the page in your mailbox without Pamzi knowing. Stand by the mailbox, o.k.? LOL

OMG Dizzi, I never know how to use Pacific Point though I try. You and Audzi have given me a new perspective on it now. I just have to pair it with other colors. This is beautiful. Your dp is awesome and I love your border punching. A real winner here! Glad to see zee punches are oiled up and ready for use!

I LOVE all that blue, white, and green! Fabulous papers, awesome design. And it looks like you got a bit of a Punchin' to the Oldies workout with this, too ;).

Oh it's great to see a couple of new cards in your gallery. This is so pretty -- love the blues and that floral ribbon. Those layers punched strips look great.
