Hi! I made this card for today's inspiration challenge: Maggie Austin Cake. Although I was inspired, my card was VERY loosely based on the polished stones on top of the cake by the same name found here: http://maggieaustincake.com/?page_id=16
I stamped the paisley flower on watercolor paper with Palette Noir and colored it in using various colors that reminded me of the polished stones. After matting and mounting it, I scored lines on the base and added a strip of black cs which was run through an ef to give extra texture; I got the idea and the one to use watercolor paper as the card base from Sabrina's (cook22) card found here: IC293 Floral Square by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers Thanks, Sabrina; I hope you don't mind!!
TFL and have an inspiring day!!

When I see a flower design like that I want to translate it to embroidery .
Delighted that you were inspired to use watercolour card for your base and also score it. I cringe at the expense of using it for a base, but sometimes with a simple image also on watercolour paper it's the only way to go!
