Well, I must have developed some since the last time we had a collage challenge, because I enjoyed my first one so much that I decided to make a second. After a false start I had another go on the back so as not to waste good watercolour card, and I love how this turned out .
It's a random size to fit how the panel turned out- base is 5 x 6 1/4" cream card, edges sponged with Pine Needles distress ink.
Image panel: watercolour paper.
First I stamped Linen with Vintage Photo.
Then I masked the centre and stamped a Stampendous stamp in each corner, angled to look as if it were being torn apart. I coloured that with distress inks (Worn Lipstick, Scattered Straw, Pine Needles) and added pink and gold Liquid Pearls to the small flowers, and gold Stickles to the peony stamens.
I worked with my understanding of the challenge to use 4 stamps and not more, so I sponged a sun in, and then stamped an Autumn Leaves flourish in Vintage Photo. Then I stamped the butterfly, inking the stamp with Cranberry and Violet Colorbox inks, and Rock and Roll technique. I used a marker to colour the body and antennae brown. I stamped it, and than added green distress Stickles to the flourish. Distressed the edges, sponged some blue in at the top, and sponged the edges with green and blue.
Sentiment from Carte Postale stamped on a Spellbinders leaf, sponged with Pine Needles and some veins added in round the sentiment.
Image panel and sentiment both popped up on foam.

Beautifully done! I love that you used the flourish for the butterfly's trail. And I swear! I thought that was designer paper at the bottom torn in half.
Thanks for sharing!
