I have a similar layout story - long story short: he started it, she finished it, the wall was involved, ER is no fun, and staples in the head hurt. Hope your son is okay and recovering well.

unfortunately stuff happens (we got hit on a motorbike). hope your son is okay and is not afraid but understands how we try to do extreme sports safely. you can't live in a bubble. very glad he just has scrapes and bruises, while painful, and wasn't seriously injured. my best to you.

Thank you both! The accident was Labor Day of 2009. We took our first ride in an ambulance together, and with his grandpa, who was driving the four-wheeler. The only time we didn't make the kids wear helmets was with an adult driving - this rule is now changed!!! He was such a brave little trooper through the entire ordeal and we were very fortunate for it being limited to surperficial injuries for the most part with a few hours in the emergency room. And he surprised me by not having any issues whatsoever getting back on the four-wheelers.
