This is the card I made for my Daughter Rachel, for her Gr. 12 grad! I thought about making a serious looking card, but in the end, this seemed right! Her school colours are black, red and gold, so I used those colours.
I also used the sketch from a Sketch For You To Try SFYTT, it was perfect for this!
First I stamped the monkey and coloured him with copics. Then I used a technique I learned at my copic certification class and added texture to the monkey. I cut him out, and added him to a circle made with nesties. The Graduation hat is from the Monkey Accessories kit and coloured with copics. For the diploma, I just took some regular copy paper, sponged the edge lightly with TH antique linen and then rolled it up.
The Happy Graduation sentiment is from the SU Teeny Tiny Wishes set.
I made the glittery red stars by covering real red cardstock with versamark and embossing it with red glittery EP. Then I finished it off with black taffeta ribbon!

WoW! Your daughter is lucky to be receiving this card! That monkey is colored to perfection, great looking diploma and glitter stars. I like the Sentiment strip too!
