This is a little scene looking across Stump the Grumps sunflower farm toward the schoolhouse.
I used a technique called "painting with powder" originated by Stampendous to create this.
1. stamps and emboss image in black
2. swipe your versa mark pad over entire image
3. working from the edge in cover the entire image
in different coloured embossing powers.
4. heat set
5. repeat step 1. making sure you restamp in the
exact same spot as the first time.
I wanted a bit of dimension so I stamped the flowers twice and popped them up. When finished it has the appearance of enamel or cloisonne.

WOW!! This is really cool!! I checked out the tutorial and seeing what you have here well, I'm really impressed!!! And look, you even got the ruler or tape measure in there for us. Only we need higher #'s. Our counting is not going so well!

Ha ha! Looking at your ruler, I wondered where the 1 and the 2 went...musta left them in the counting thread, the 1 (you) and the 2 (me) in the counting thread! or....did the teacher say counting starts at three and not one? You don't know either? Somebody cross the field and ask ole Grumpy!
You know what's good about you? If you don't ever learn how to count, you can fall back on your artistic talent....this is very artsey girlfriend! This is such a cool card! I love, love, love it! The gingham, raffia and ruler are the perfect finishing touches! Whooot! Love it girlfriend!

Elizabeth,
This is amazing - the texture is awesome. The image on the gingham with the raffia and corner brads looks gorgeous. Could you sprinkle a little bit of your art talent into a test tube or even a small tupperware bowl and send it to me?
