I FINALLY got to play the challenges for this week. I really, really wanted to play the color challenge because I LOVE Cherry Cobbler together with the other colors but got busy!! Then I thought I could play the Ways to Use it Challenge of no white but...got busy! Today, I decided I was going to try and get a card made.
You might say this is an "old-retired" card because it is "old" DP from SU and an "old" retired set from SU but "hey, you use what you got, right?!?"

absolutely! really nice. I am always looking at cards on SC and thinking about how I can use what I've got!! It doesn't always work-because you see all these neat NEW sets! Oh well!

Zigzag- An oldie but goodie. As the cliche goes. I use my "old" SU stamps all the time, some you just gotta keep using. I think SU products are made to not go out of style. Your card is wonderful. You did a great job on finally being able to make a challenge card.

Just because it's retired doesn't mean you need to toss it in the trash stash pile! I have LOTS of retired sets and dp and colors. It's very costly to keep up with everything that comes out, so don't appologize! Just stamp and enjoy. = ) I adore your creation, I'm kinda onesided when it comes to nautical items!
