Betty chose gentle colors for this first day of summer...just what I needed! We are having brunch with DS and his GF at her parents in Ware, MA on Sunday, so I wanted a special hospitality card. Cut the house shape card from Close to Cocoa CS and scored the siding (Used the MS tool for the close spacing). Fashioned the windows from the smallest nestie long rectangle, cut in half, drew in the panes and added shutters. Cut the door with the same nestie and trimmed to size. Scored the door panels with Scor-Pal (wider grooves accented the panels better). Ran a piece of Fancy Pants Beach Bum through the TH bricked EF, mounted all on the card with more fancy pants for the roof. Added the brass kick plate and used a gold gel pen for the doorknob. I was going to put grooves on the shutters but realized that DH would have me committed and I have no daycare arrangements for the twins. PT -4
Thank you so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

Great card for the occasion! I love how much thought you put into it to create it. Glad you skipped the extra details that may have gotten you committed - we would have missed you too much!!!!

Oh Marzi this is just so darsh gone cute. I love this little house. You did an awesome job with your creativity with this one girlfriend. As a matter of fact-this would look awesome as a cover for a chipboard album and you could title it "Love Makes a House a Home". Oooo look at the inspiration you gave me!!!

Well, aren't you clever? That reminds me of a tile or stucco roof. Wonderful idea and the creativity is flowing, Marzi M.
