This is for the circle/square challenge over at Flourishes this week. The square is obviously the card base, the circles are the buttons. I stamped the window first and drew the siding around it. The shutters were stamped twice and hinged onto the window. The rows of trim were masked and the buttons were stitched to make them look more realistic, and real buttons added. The leaves were stamped and then extra ones cut out and layered.

What a Pane this is!! And beautiful to boot!! I love all the detail, from the hinged shutters to the buttons that aren't real, but you added thread to anyhow!! Great colors too!!

Wow, this is one awesome card with lots of work on it!! The shutters look very cool and you even made your own siding. If I were to draw my siding, it would turn out crooked - even with a ruler - the lines would go down hill or something!! I like that you popped up some of the leaves - makes it look so full. Your buttons are too cute - (both real and paper)!! After all this, I'm just trying to say it's a gorgeous card - but I just had to blabber on!

This is a masterpiece! It could be framed! I just love how you drew and shaded in the siding. It looks so lifelike. The leaves coming from both corners really add to the total picture. Great job.
