Brief note, this is my regular Teapot Tuesday Card with Curt.
First it was stocking the water with hungry fish, then it was synchronized swimming and now it’s flying with a water can. Curt is plum tuckered out. So here is how he relaxes….on his version of a “water bed”. Remember those? Do people still sleep on them? One might wonder. I still have the water bed frame but a really good mattress has replaced the rolling water bed. Good thing cuz DH would never get any sleep with my nightly 2-3 trips to the potty. He’d think he was on the high seas! Ker----Splash! hehe…..Go here for the Mudders story……now card details….
I had stamped the row of flowers on the bottom of this panel to be used for my first card, but then I decided to flip it. Not wanting to waste this one I took pen in hand a created this scene. I did stamp the very large rocks, clumps of grass and those looky loo cows. Ever notice how a herd of cows just stare at you when walking by? hehe
Coloring was done with copics, re-inkers, w/c pencils and prisma pencils. Do I win a prize for the most coloring techniques? Oh, I also used acrylic paint for the dots on the borders.
Well, thatÂ’s it for another Teapot Tuesday Card with CurtÂ…Â…..have a great day all. I will be trying to quite my barky Rosco dog. We are having the house painted and he doesnÂ’t like all the commotion going on outside. Â…Â….TFL :0)

Awesome job. I am working on my very first "scene" card as we speak. I am going to favorite this so I can see how you coloured some of the background. TFS.

super cool. We had a water bed back in the day too ... those WERE the days, my friend! I love your scene and the story is fun, and Curt is always a star in my book, even if he is caught relaxing in the pool. What a fun card!

This is just way too cute. That Curt is quite the character. I think he may have had too much of that blue drink with the purty umbrella. Hope he doesn't have a headache after he's done relaxing.

And I thought it was the men that made the many nightly trips to the bathroom.hehe Great card, Cathy!! I love the way Curt relaxes and he doesn't have to worry about being seen in a bathing suit like some of us do!! Yes, I have noticed how the cows just stare back at you, when going by, I even mooo at them and get the same results! Better to have them staring at you, rather than making mud pies!

I am sure he's enjoying some well-deserved R&R after all his great efforts keeping all the flowers watered and blooming beautifully. Personally I'd like a bigger pool , but maybe cows can't swim? If he can only float that should be perfect for him.
