This is my design team card for this week's challenge over at Happileigh Scrappin'. Our challenge this week is to create something with lots of lace, buttons, bows, ribbon, brads, pearls - lots of embellishments.
Since June, the wedding month, is coming up, I decided to use Leigh's beautiful wedding couple.
I glued lace over the MS punch on the side and then added a string of pearls. Added a tiny button to the groom's coat and a bow to the top of the oval. The 2 ovals were cut out and then sponged in the center with Antique Linen Distress ink. I doodled the scroll work around all of the edges. The couple is colored with Copics and popped up on the ovals. The background paper is a champagne shimmer paper embossed with platinum and distressed.
