Our challenge over at Crafty Secrets this week was to make a black and white card. I am known to the challenge police for tweaking challenges. On this one I decided silver doesn't count as a colour!!! Presumptuous of me isn't it?
Unfortunately you can't see the black embossing on black layer very well. So the bottom layer is black on black then the obvious black on white. The butterfly is silver on white and the top butter layer is silver on velum. Rhinestones on the corners and the butterfly and a silver glitter rose on the bow.

Classy card - love the black embossing on the black cardstock! And I don't think you need to worry about the challenge police if I remember right we're not limited to just B&W : )

Silver comes from the gray family and the gray family is part of the black family -- so, you aren't really tweaking the rules at all - you are well within your challenge rights - so, proudly march forward and display that card to all!!! Hear the crowd roar!! Okay, I'm done! Beautiful card, Elizabeth, and so elegant. Your butterfly is really gorgeous too!!

Lovely elegant card, just beautiful! You didn't cheat - Marcy said we could interpret any way we liked, including adding colour - so the challenge police are probaby not roaring down the highway as we speak ;o)
