Obviously I was working on this card too late because my first thought was to make a monogram card using my Cuttlebug alphabet dies and, here's where the dumb part comes in, I could give it to my friends the Rogers to use. The problem is... I totally forgot that MY last name begins with R. It's been my last name for almost 8 years... you'd think I'd be able to remember it!
My three ARRRRs are: Ribbon (technically this is the handle from a Mary Kay bag), Red, and "R". The ribbon didn't work so well for ruffled trim since it was so thick.
Note: I am not a good judge of size w/o a ruler, so when I bought this stamp years ago I did not realize that it wasn't even 4 x 5 1/4 to make a decent panel. It's too short! This is probably my most successful use of the entire stamp, though. At least I learned to carry a measuring tape with me when I go shopping!

I really like that background stamp and the way you matted it ... the black and red look fabulous together and recycling a bag handlle ... that's awesome!

I think the stamp looks great on your card front. I love the rich red with the black, too.
