Today's Free 4 All challenge was Opposites Attract - we are to use opposite colors on the color wheel Wendy showed us in the forum.
I chose the opposite colors of Yellow and Violet.
I made a tag today using the 'Ghosting' technique for my image. I stamped this lovely butterfly girl from The Crafts Meow on the tag using Moonlight White Pigment ink (you have to use a pigment ink for this step)
After it dried (I used my hot gun!) I sponged over the image with Ranger Distress Dye inks (for this step you use Dye inks) - Dusty Concord and Mustard Seed. And the white image beneath appears like a ghost!!!
Then I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from the same set on the card with Black ink, layered the tag to a yellow panel and a purple panel, clipped the corners, punched through the hole in the top and looped some wrinkled seam tape through the hole! I added a little bling to the flower and the butterfly.
This worked up so quickly and doesn't it look lovely?! It would make a wonderful bookmark too - you can stamp a sentiment on the back for a birthday or a get well etc.
