There are so many great uploads of this Bloomin Beautiful image, but this beauty by blondie090277 is the one I relied on the most for advice (follow the link to her blog) on watercoloring, cutting out and layering these hydrangeas:
I used a combination of markers and reinkers with the aquapainter. Fun to experiment until I got the effect I wanted.
I decided to try a different pot, so I used part of a fancy urn image from an Ink-N-Rubber stamp image I bought at a stamping convention last year. I stamped the urn on Really Rust cardstock with Encore Bronze ink and embossed with clear EP. The edges are shaded with Really Rust ink and the aquapainter. Then I colored in the fancy pattern with twinkling h20's Indian Copper. I painted the vase with Crystal Effects for a more glazed finish effect. The vase is cut out and popped up on dimensionals, then the flower layers (lots of dimensionals used) are positioned over the vase. The Almost Amethyst embossed layer is also on dimensionals, as is the Fancy Tags sentiment.
This card is 5 x 6 1/4 inches.
