I used Direct to Paper to make a fun sort of oceany whitewashed wood background for a Maya Road chipboard cameo. I used Clearsnap pigment ink for the aqua, and basic gray and whisper white SU inks for the rest.
After I put the ribbon on there I decided I didn't want any words - I might rethink it, but for now I left it simple.
I loved all the VSN challenges, and faux wood is one of my fave techniques, so I'm excited that's how it ended. Thanks to all our amazing hostesses!! See you at the main!!

I LOVE what you did with the technique in these shore-side inspired colors. Fantastic. I will have been wanting to do more of the faux wood and this is great inspiration.

Lydia, love this ocean whitewashed wood. I did one today..not quite finished. Will have to wait until later this week to upload as I will be out of town Wednesday. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. I do love new techniques and Kitty has been keeping me busy with her gorgeous flowers and sprays.
