I made this card for a college graduate who loves to bike. I used the color scheme from The Play Date Cafe Challenge 79 (red, lime, and gray). My red is rusty. ;-) You can play along with the challenge here: http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/...ge-pdcc79.html.
I CASED this card by WAXYO when she repeated the stamped image of the bicycle several times: SC162 Bikes & Brads by WAXYO at Splitcoaststampers. The sentiment is from Hero Arts (I think). Let me know if you know who makes it and what the set of four is called. I heat embossed both the bicycle images and the sentiment and popped up the sentiment. Faux stitched around all the straight edges with a tracing wheel and ruler. Pierced around the sentiment circle.
Thanks for looking!

I think this bike is called a "penny farthing," isn't it? LOVE them! This is a wonderful card....I'd like to find that stamp. I have a former colleague who actually rides one now and then....he's a retired math teacher. I really like how you used the color palette for PDCC.

Hi Shellie, I find all those angles beneath your bike focal point *very* interesting! And what a great way to incorporate our challenge colors this week. THanks for playing with us at THe PLay Date Cafe!

Love that angular background and that you stitched all of the edges. Your fading bicycle effect is really neat too and works well with that stamp. Thanks so much for playing along at The Play Date Cafe.
