I had decided to participate in Ted's monthly HEC challenge titled Sweet Sixteen. We're tasked with creating a card using a purple/green combo and incorporate four elements within the sketch. Please check it out and play along. There's still a few days left! www.happilyevercrafter.com/search/label/HEC
I must say this card took a great deal of mental effort... and it's a CAS card!! What does that say??!! Sometimes less takes more effort. Note to self... have bottle of Tylenol handy on craft table. =)
Using SU WW card base, I cut another WW panel and layered onto BB. Stamped the focal image as a butterfly and used rhinestones for the body. Used PTI buttons and ribbon on the opposite corner to balance out the card. I rounded the opposite corners to mimic the stamp pattern.

This is a wonderful card! I love how the butterfly and the paper on which it's mounted coordinate in shape. And it can totally be used as a birthday card (part of the challenge)... love that button addition. Thanks for playing along with me this month!
