I made this for todays color challenge. I really had no clue what the heck I was goign to do, so I went thru images I already stamped and I came across the bricks. I decided to build my card around it.
I first stamped the swirls from Priceless in Concord Crush, then added real red flowers to it. Then I stamped the butterfly. Originally I was going to cut it out but decided to punch it instead. I mounted it on cc.
So now I had two images I had no clue what to do with either of them. So I went to my ivory, found a scrap piece (actual size it is now) and started playing with different scenarios. I felt like the bricks needed a mat, so first I layered them with Kraft, then with cc. I thought the middle needed something. I had a piece of vanilla that had something stamped in red so I held it up and didn't like it. So then I stamped somethign in cc and after mounting the vanilla on cc, I loved the cc. So I stamped it on an angle.
Then I was like, what am I going to do now? So I got out a piece of kraft and decided to mimic the bricks I already had. I outlined them in red, then used the bigger flourish from priceless and stamped it in cc. I mounted that on cc. Then I used the base of ivory for the final product.
This is not my usual way of thinking but I think it came out decent with all things considered.
