My QFTD56 card inspired by this weeks Fabulous Stamper and really sweet lady......"MrsBoz" CarrollAnn. With all the gorgeous DSP's available why not just embellish the paper. That is what CarrollAnn did on this very pretty Rose card: Roses, Roses (WT316) by MrsBoz at Splitcoaststampers
My "Beyond the Garden" DSP was embellished with 2 stamped and embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder flowers from the new SU "Fabulous Florets" stamp set. I then cut out the flowers and attached with dimensionals. I added a rhinestone brad to the DSP, a ribbon and dimensional sentiment. BTW, I did cut out my DSP with the SU Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die and faux stitched around the square. This is a 4 1/2" square card. All and all a very easy, but fun card.
Thanks again Trish for choosing MrsBoz and thanks CarrollAnn for your inspiration. Have a great week.
BTW....this paper is so much prettier and brighter IRL :-) All the DSP, stamp set and EB powder from the new SU Summer Mini available May 1st.

Absolutely gorgeous! I haven't cut into that particular piece of dsp yet, but you've inspired me to do so this weekend. It looks great with the scallop square die.

Oh, I think I love everything in that Summer Mini!! LOL! But, this paper tops the list; it's so gorgeous. I don't think I got that stamp set yet, though. I can't wait to emboss with the Melon Mambo and the other two colored EP's!! I love what you did with those two popped up flowers! This card is awesome, and I bet it really WAS fun to make!! Thank you so much for honoring me today with this beautiful card, and that PM you sent out was so kind and thoughtful of you!!! You are definitely a sweetheart!!!

So pretty in its simplicity. I think that embossing a couple of the flowers makes them pop--not only in a more intense color, but by giving them a different sheen and texture, too. The scalloped edge is really what takes this card from good to great.
