I belong to an awesome group of stampers who swap images with each other and then we post our results to see how different everyone's cards ended up being! It is so much fun!
This month Joanna sent us this sweet image!! I must confess, she also sent us some lovely sheer white ribbon and silver cord but just as I was editing this photo I realized that I had forgot to use those (insert me slapping my forhead!!) So, forgive me and I will create another card using this image and those additional items!! Sheesh!!
My favorite part:
If you look closely (or enlarge the photo) you will see that the bear has some texture on him. This is created by coloring him first. Then using a darker brown ink pad and a terry cloth rag, I put ink on the rag and carefully dotted the color onto the bear. It is a great way to add realistic looking "fluff"

Oh my goodness! This is so cute. I love the texture you added to the bear. Suzanne Dean teaches that in one of her classes. I love everything about this card. Love the dp, the texture, the embellies just love it all.

Donelda, the texturing on the bear is a great idea, really adds to the image! The colors you chose, the twine and button, give this creation a whole new look, and I love the result!
