I found this really cute old set (2002) called natures wonders and thought it would be fun to use for the challenge. It was great to take a break from making wedding invites...(former foster daughter is getting married and ask "mom" to make her invites, thank goodness I have until mid May to finish)
I used nothing but a pair of scalloped edge scissors. It was sure hard to get it straight...can you say I WANT MY NESTIES...LOL

Beautiful image and layout - I really like the little pink strip with the inverted scallops against the black background.
I know what you mean about straight -I drew a pencil line on the back of my paper, and it STILL didn't come out totally straight.

I am so with you....definitely a learning curve to using these tools and it was not like riding a bike! I do like the results...worth your effort for sure; I especially like the lower pink piece.

I hear you on the scalloped edge with scissors. I have never gotten one straight, but I find if you don't tell, no one knows. I think your card is a beauty. That flower is so pretty.
