Hello! This card was made for this week's Sketch Challenge and the Tea Party Challenge....
Yesterday, I made a card that featured this little cat inside the teacup from Mark's Finest Papers' Floral Tea. A friend asked me how I could use those images together for a "normal card." Hmmm...I THOUGHT the original card was a "normal card." I guess I'm now making ABnormal cards....Interesting. I'll have to think about that later. Besides, I'm sending this one out to a VERY good buddy tomorrow! She'd never accuse me of being anything CLOSE to normal! LOL
I used 3 stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers for this card. The cat is from More of Speedy the Cat's Friends. He was stamped in Noir onto Snow Storm Smooth. Today, I used my Heat Tool to dry the ink. I colored in the fur with several Copics. (E00, E01, E31, E17, BG15, BG23.)The sentiment and butterfly are a sneak peek of MFP's Garden Fairies.)
I cut out all three images. images. The Cat image is a walking cat. So, I taped it to the back of the cup and trimmed away the back end. Next, the paws were sticking out of the side of the cup, so I snipped them off and put one coming out of the top of the cup. I used a Black Memento Marker to fill in the edge of the image that had been cut.
I ran the solid panels through a Sizzix Texture Folder.
What do you think?
