Today DandI93, aka Irene is our FS. She has such a fabulous and very fun gallery it was hard to choose just one card to case. Plus, she is always leaving us wonderful comments on our cards. Irene, enjoy your day/week as the FS. It is so deserved......my card....
I chose this card to case. I change the snowflake to a chair and the sentiment from "Let it snow" to "Relax, Relax, Relax".
The real hard part and as you can see was leaving ALL that white space. So in order to make myself happy with this card, I just had to sponge and doodle the edges to tone the white down a tad.
This image is one I colored in the Lockhart Class I took. We used a sylus first to make all the patterns, then colored with prismapencils no gamsol. It is amazing how all the little scor'd lines don't pick up the color from the pencils. You should give it a try.
Layered my panels on black cs and a black card. The sentiment was done on the computer before cutting, sponging and doodling.
Tied the bow using the easy bow maker which I still struggle with. I think I might just have to buy some already tied bows if I want them to look good. hehe
Hope you have a great day as the FS Irene. Plus I hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday....TFL :0)

fantastic card Cathy, love where you took this card, after all the snow this year everyone deserves to relax... love the doodling, how could it be your card without the Mutnik flair, which I love....it might be time to turn the lamp off and snuggle up in the chair with the throw and take a nap, now that sounds relaxing, thank you for playing today and casing one of my cards, big hugs, Irene

Cathy, I love your CASE of Irene's card...with your own edge-finishing twist. Terrific idea of "denting" an image with a stylus before coloring with pencils....looks SO great! TFS

So cute! I made a card with a chair on it...never finished it because I couldn't figure out a sentiment to put on it...or an occasion to use it for. You just helped me with both...Thanks for sharing.
