The new queen (QFTD53) is Karen Dunbrook (k dunbrook). I had not visited Karen's gallery prior to Karen taking the throne, but I have to tell you - it's totally fantastic. There are so many beautiful cards - it was a bit intimidating. However, I finally chose this card. I kept the layout, but flipped the card, stayed in the blue family of colors, used 1 flower instead of 3 and a different sentiment. Again, congratulations, Karen - enjoy the week! My blog. Thanks for looking!

Hey, ya been hoarding that Parisian Breeze too - I sure know why - it looks so awesome!! You did a fabulous job honoring Karen's gallery with this great card!! Love how the flower looks with the corduroy center - I used and "older" set today too - sometimes the C&S cards just beg for an older image!! Ya done good, Kathy!!

Beautiful job Kathy. I see you had some Parisian Breeze DSP left over. I'm still hoarding the pieces you sent me. They are so pretty. Great job on caseing the Queen this week!

So pretty, Kathy! You have used some of my favorite paper...so much texture. Your flower is so pretty and it is a great way to honor Queen Karen.
