For last week's F4A garden challenge I made my MIL's Mother's Day card. As it had a lot of dimension I needed to make a gift box for it - so while I'm still in the garden, it's also a sunny garden for today's sunshine challenge .
The box is 6" square and 1" deep, made from Bazzill.
I used two different Sizzix foliage dies and two different scraps of green paper for all the greenery, along with some mulberry leaves for the grass. Flowers are In Full Bloom stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black, and coloured with distress inks -Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Shabby Shutters, with Stickles in the centres. For the fallen bloom on the ground I cut along the edges of all the petals and folded it up a bit.
Sun is Spellbinders Lotus pendant cut from Bazzill, with the centre manually embossed with Swiss Dots, and a spot of Stickles on each dot. For extra garden points the butterflies are punched from a photo of tulips from last year's calendar.

Sabrina, what an ingenious way to "make" your sun! Love those beautiful, bright butterflies too! This is what my garden looks like...NOT! LOL! It's still under 2 feet of snow...sigh...
