For my background texture I inked a texturz plate with black ink and then embossed through my Big Shot. I love that effect, especially with this texturz plate for a guy!
This week's Stampin Royalty challenge was to add texture. I figure I can probably enter almost every card I make, but I'll enter this one for their challenge... http://stampinroyalty.blogspot.com/

Wow what a terrific background texture for your masculine card. I like the inked look technique you did. I am sure the Queen will be pleased with a card for her reign.
Thanks so much for stepping up to the plate and being our new hostess for the QFTD Challenge. That is very nice of you to do.

Very nice! The panels are great. Love the background. Reminds me of the rugged/aged look on truck boxes in the back of pickups (geez, how totally city-mouse does that sound??) tfs
