Have you ever lost track of how close someone's birthday is and had to scramble to make a card? Ellen's birthday was March 18. (I remembered on St. Pat's.) Her mother is German and her dad Irish. The legend is that her father wanted her to have a St. Patrick's Day birthday but her mom wanted no part of that...so she held off until after midnight to have Ellen! Her favorite color is, however, green.
I stamped the image in Whisper White and Wasabi on Artichoke and cut with an oval nestie. Matted with a bunch of scraps from recent projects, one of which I ran through Swiss Dots EF. Pierced part way 'round the oval. PC Generated the sentiment, punched and matted. Ran a Flourishes cream card through CBEF and sponged with Memento Tea Leaves. Added the ribbon, pearls and a couple of dots of gold stickles then done. She did like it, thank Heaven. PT - 3
Thanks so much for looking and have a peaceful day.

I usually make my birthday cards after the person's birthday - I never remember! I have got to get a better system (actually, I need a system). Love your papers and your layout. I really like how much you write about your cards - interesting reading!

What a great array of ef, dp, layout. It's so darn interesting. What a great job and PLEASE don't try to be like Debzi always running late on everything in her poor life. She leads everyone to believe it's due to her important spy missions, but I think NOT!! TFS!

What a beauty, Marzi! I love how you did your dandelions. Isn't it funny how fantastic a weed can look on a card with the right treatment??
