Hello! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Purple, Pear and Light Blue.
Well, I can assure you, I have not been able to participate in the Color Combo Challenges for quite a while. Why? Because I WORK on Monday Nights. Yep, it's USUALLY my night to work Third Shift at the warehouse. Well...Since Mark is away, (*insert HEAVY SIGH here), I had to switch with another family member, since NO ONE wants to be in charge of the "Grumpy Bear," aka Markie, in the morning. So...that means I get to Stamp!
This new set: Just Dandy, is a new favorite of mine. I have also found out a SUPER SECRET about how to get the REALLY small details to really show up: Use VersaFine Ink! Yes! This stuff is a wonder! Every little detail is crisp! LOVE IT!
I stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx and used a Copic to color in the lines. Next, I used the Copic Airbrush for the background sky. I added the same effect to the sentiment.
Today's "dessert" was to use a gel pen. I use gel pens almost every day, on every card. However, today, I colored the hardware with a Sharpie and added the gel dots to the hardware.
Finished Card size: 5" square
Total time to complete: 44 minutes

What drew me in was the black and white and your signature DOTS! All your cards bring such JOY! I enjoy your stories as much as your talent that is so evident in your cards!
