A royal welcome to our 50th Queen! Kim, I am so tickled for you! Your gallery is a fun place to play. I chose Vintage Hollyhocks as I was immediately drawn to your wonderful design! I changed colors and images, but tried to stay true to your beautiful work. Hope your reign is full of wonder!
This is also my submission to the Twisted Sister challenge, issued this week by Shirley to use a chicken image. Using SU's Rustic Rooster on DP, I stitched around the edges and popped up the panels over this delish lace sent to me by my sweet friend Jan (Heartsong47) Thank you Sister! I used SU's Occasional Quotes for my tag, stamping over a bg of Chicken Wire. And many thanks also to Kokirose, who gave me sewing lessons last weekend and showed me IRL what to so with my machine! Hugs...

Well, isn't this such a lovely card?!! I love your sewing, that is always something so special from the heart I think. I keep hoping that one day I may be reunited with my machine. I love the chicken on the card as well. Chickens always have that wonderful, simple, down on the farm feeling. The lace your received from Jan is gorgeous. Thank you so much for taking the time to honor me with this beautiful card. There are some of the kindest women that stamp, and are part of this site. I am feeling very blessed by you all today. Thanks!! :>)

Talk about COUNTRY! Wow, this "chicken" is really a rooster, but it is the same family so we will have to let you slide on that because you really delivered with this gorgeous card! Your stitching is looking even more awesome, since kokirose was there and gave you some free lessons! Those are great DP's you coordinated and love that you stamped the senti over the chicken wire BG! This is SURELY a card with a lot of your heart wrapped up in it! LYMI

Wonderful Schicken card! Or rooster as Greenie pointed out....details... Wonderfully done my dear, right down to the fantastic stitching. You and Kokirose must have had a blast playing together like school-girls. Such fun. I might even have a schicken stamp (of sorts) that I should put to ink and make a card... Hugs!
