Congratulations, Queen Kim, our QFTD50!!! Kim is not only a wonderful card maker but she is also a Shih Tzu lover. (See her avatar with her two adorable little dogs??? See how they look just like my adorable little dog???) It was with great pleasure that I CASED one of KimÂ’s lovely cards. I chose Flourishes Violets because I havenÂ’t used that stamp in a while, and I just love these violets.
I changed the colors, the embossed background, the punched border and the corner adornments. I used rhinestones instead of brads, scored the background, and added a ribbon with a button. The image and layout are the same.
Enjoy your week, Kim.
I added the polka dot ribbon for the WT312 challenge.
TFL.

What a beautiful card Lorie!! I think that prisma colored pencils are one of the best ways to go with this image. I love this image too. I use to have quite a few violets until one of my beloved Shih Tzus kept knocking them over when the mail man came. I do love my Shih Tzus too. Thanks for mentioning them as well. At one time I hoped to get a little club of stampers and Shih Tzu lovers together. It didn't happen. Anyway, thank you so much for taking time for the queen today. Your card is lovely. :>)

Ms Melody, what a gorgeous card you've craffted for us today. Whoa, your coloring is superb on this one girl. It's even extra special with your punched border. Wonderfully cased and a fine tribute to our sweet Kim.

How beautiful and what a wonderful job coloring. I had a pot of violets until I dumped them recently. They had been around for several years and had just done about all they were going to do. Actually, with all this card making, I didn't care for them properly. I may have to get some more after seeing your delightful image.
Both yours and Kim's dogs are beautiful. Pets are wonderful and such good friends.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
