Some days are the best days of our lives, and today is one to celebrate- my DH retires! After 32 years with the Army Corps of Engineers as the Dam Operator of Pine Flat Dam, he is coming home to his recliner! Woo-hooo! So, this card is for the Dirty Dozen theme Days of our Lives.
Using the newly released custom die cuts from Spellbinders, exclusively available at ODBD, I cut this photograph taken by my DH and stitched around the edges (thanks for the lessons Kokirose!!!) and mounted it on DP and used a metal tag to stamp the sentiment from Craft Lounge (Oh, I knew I could use this someday!) The inside sentiment is from A Muse and reads "Ready, Set, Recline!"
Thanks for looking! I am off to a BBQ at Pine Flat!

Such a clever card! Very creative and beautiful too! Stamping on the metal tag is perfect for a guy. The foliage and twine looks like stuff your DH could have picked up around the dam.
