Here is my entry for challenge no: F4A52 which asked us to create a child's Birthday card.
This was a great one for me as our gorgeous little boy will be 6 in just under 2 weeks time so the challenge motivated me to make his card early rather than my usual last minute rush!
The theme for the card was a no brainer as Leo adores Mickey Mouse clubhouse and in a couple of months we will be heading across the atlantic to visit Orlando Florida where no doubt we will be encountering much mouseness!
As you can see it is a really simple layout and you can't really tell from the photo but Mickey has been cut out and raised onto 3d sticky foam pads for added dimension. Leo is partially sighted so cards with texture and depth are a big hit!
The stamp I used for the main image is by All Night Media and is very kindly on loan to me by my sweet Sister. All of the patterned papers used are from the EK Success 12x12 Mickey Paper Pad. I also used Glossy Accents to make Mickey's shiny, patent shoes.
This was a fab challenge and I hope you all like it and Thank you SOOOOO much if you find a moment to stop by my little corner of SCS x
