I have to admit that if we had our recent heavy grey skies, mist, fog and rain I might have gone somewhere else with this card. But today is bright and sunny, I had a lovely walk in the morning and all the windows are open - so we have a Spring card .
A2 pearlescent silver base embossed with a Fiskars Texture plate. Labels 10 cut from the same card. Both base and label are edged with brown ink for definition. I used some new stuff which just arrived yesterday - Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals for the little flowers and the little Maya Road chipboard bird. Love those birds - I've used a whole box of the large ones and am well on my way through a second tin, so I couldn't resist these little ones.
Flowers were cut from an old book, sponged with Worn Lipstick and just a little Spiced Marmalade. Centres are punched from vellum with a stamen punch, sponged with Mustard Seed and a tiny gem added in the centre. Bird was coated with two layers of gesso, sponged with Broken China and stamped with a Stampendous music score in Vintage Photo. Foliage was punched from white card with a Leone-Em punch and sponged with Crushed Olive.
I stamped the label with Weathered and StazOn Dove grey and then added all the embellishments. It's popped up on foam, with a double bow distressed with the heat gun added.
Note - don't try punching old, soft paper with a difficult punch. My single leaf spray is now in the freezer, hoping it will contract enough to free it. At least I had an even harder to use multi-leaf punch to keep me going.

Very pretty. I like the way you have the music on the bird and the words on the flowers. It adds to all the texture you've created with the embossed background and punched out branches. Stunning card!

Oh, Sabrina - your card sure looks like it was inspired by the pretty day here - it sounds like its as mild and bright in Dublin as it is in Belfast! This is beautiful - stunning flowers, bird, and bow!!!

Beautiful card Sabrina!
Thanks for commenting on my card, but it was not so nice that you had to tell me you already see crocuses!!! LOL I am just glad I see the ugly green/gray/yellow grass after the snow melted.
Hugs and grins
