I wanted to use this image, and knew that if I stayed within the Brown/Yellow group, it would look fairly monochromatic.
I stamped the image with Adirondack's Espresso and used Memento markers and an aqua painter to color in face and mane.
I'm off to look for a new car today...Okay, a USED car, as the insurance didn't give us nearly what we need to get a NEW car....Funny, I've been paying for insurance my entire life, since I was 16, and I've never had to actually use it until now. You'd think we'd get back at least what it would cost to REPLACE the wrecked car...Shoot, we had the PREMIUM coverage with only a $100 deductible....Oh, well, it's just another life lesson, right?
Finished card size; 5" square
