I'm late. I'm late. I'm very, very late. It's been one of those weeks.
Finally had a chance to sit down and make this card last night.
These little House Mice are Comin' Down and flying by to send some smiles and cheer to Sean, a very brave 23 year old, who is fighting testicular cancer. You can read more about this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge here . If you would like to send Sean a card you can find out how here .
We were to bring something that flies to this week's party. I found this old House Mouse stamp - from back when Stampa Rosa still made House Mouse - in a little stamp shop the other day and it was perfect for this week's party. The airplane is cut out of Kay & Company (Danny O Cars) embossed dp. The Sequoia is an old -1993 - Hero Arts stamp I found some time ago.
Stamped the mouse, colored with Copics and clear embossed. The trees were colored with markers then stamped, then finished coloring with Copics, sponged the mountains using Post It Notes, sponged the sky using a mask, cut plane out of dp. Stamped mouse again on scrap cardstock, colored and cut out just the mouse, glued him in the plane and used dimensionals on the plane.

Oh so very cute!! How clever of you to put the mouse in the airplane! This is a wonderful card for Sean!!
Lucky you to find old House Mouse stamp from Stampa Rosa. And you're in Michigan. Oh how I wish that store never went out of business, it was here where I live in CA.
