This card is the last of five challenges I did for my SU demo (peama - Donna) in January...and probably the toughest! One layer cards just about do me in!
Her challenge: Create a one layer card using the Thanks for Caring stamp set. This card will be pretty inside & out (words and images in and out).
Used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder to add texture to the cardstock. Sponged with SU Pastels to give a bit of colour to the embossed sections. Stamped the sentiment and butterfly - inked with markers. Added some seam binding ribbon and a flower. For the inside, I punched out a piece of scrap cardstock with the Decorative Label punch and sponged around it to create a 'frame' around the sentiment.
The front got a shot of Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol to give it some sparkle.
PT: Just one - used it as a template to sponge a frame for my inside sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by!

Wish I knew how to use that spray. It changed your card into something really magical w/that glitter. I know what you mean....I cant do a single layer card either. In fact, I dont think I ever have. Your's is just marvelous, dah-ling.

Those chalks came in very handy and look lovely on the embossed image. Well done on the challenge!

You did so well with this. It would have caused me problems galore, but I know you're so smart you figure out everything. Guess you had to turn zee crown over to Susan this week. See how it feels to be stripped of your royalty. We can cry the blues together and name ourselves "The Two Blues", but, you know who, would want to butt in again - catch my drift? Wonderful job Heather.

Beautiful card. Embossing folders make it so easy to make a OLC. You did a wonderful job on this card. Love the softness of the chalks, the beauty of the elegant lines, and the elegance of the spritz.
Thanks for sharing a lovely creation.

Lovely card, Izzy...but, make that the 'Three Blues'. I'll be the Prez, of course, and maybe change the name.
