My granddaughter turned 18 yesterday and I worked hard on this card because she is sooooo into style and is sooooooo blond and I am NOT!! I tried to come up with colors that the new generation might use for their outfit but ended up using grey for the shoes and sweater!! I have never seen her in grey....thats my color starting with my hair. Miranda said the colors were fine and I was relieved and the stress was for nothing!! I did not have anything that would make her hair blond....any ideas? so she ended up with a dirty brown color.
Thank you for looking.

Ohhh Connie Jo!! This is just wonderful! I am certain that your grandaughter will just love this......... Okay - I cannot believe that you have a grand daughter that is 18 either!! Gorgeous papers, perfect colouring - girl - this is just the perfect card!
Darling card. Your coloring is great and I like the colors you chose. My gd is also 18 and in her freshman year of college...HOW SCARY. If you search Ilikemarkers.com this is a blog that teaches how to color using copics. It's a wonderful site. Maryann is the main artist or one of the main artists for copics and she has tutorials on how to color hair and many other things. Even if you don't use copics she teaches about shading etc.

Can't believe everyone wasn't oohing and ahing over this card. What a beauty! You did such a super job. I love the image, and your coloring. For blond hair maybe try some yellow re-inker or prisma pencil. Your bg dp is Fab-O! Totally OTT Wonderful going on here! Love it! TFS :0)

Super CUTE! I love the fringe-y ends on your ribbon! I wish I could help you with blond hair, but I usually got brown no matter what 'cause it's easier to color. I am a work in progress!
