OK, long story short - when I take pictures of my cards, I do it on my kitchen counter because that is the best light. Since my kitchen is extremely small, I use the space where the knives are kept which means I have to move them when photographing. There are two knives extra from the wood block....and I ended up cutting my hand quite badly when I was moving everything back into place. I got 6 stitches. Quite fitting that this was the first card I had done a faux stitching.
I decided to combine the color and sketch challenge for a Valentine's card. The designer paper had all of those colors (cherry cobbler, melon mambo, and pretty in pink) and really helped me with the melon mambo color. I couldn't figure out how to incorporate it. The sketch appealed to me for it's simplicity.
TBD if I make any more cards in the next 10 days. Will need to rethink my photographing process.

oh, my! what a horrible thing to happen. Love your card, it's way cute! the things we do for our craft, lol! Seriously, though, take care of your hand and hugs to a speedy recovery.

I love this card! So bright and cheerful. Sorry you had an accident while photographing it - but I will be CASEing this card so I really appreciate it.
