I had this idea that I wanted an integrated project that emcompassed 3 separate projects, with a twist. Pull out drawers are so easy to do, and I got tired of them, so I set out to design something with swing out drawers. The challenge was figuring out how the framework would self support if the drawers were both pulled open. It's not rocket science, but it gave my poor brain a work out LOL
Since this was a prototype only, I used white CS for pretty much all of it, making the drawers significantly flimsier than they should be. Surprisingly, even the flimsy paper holds up with a little chipboard reinforcing help. The CS was added on later and it's part of the Costco big packs that I got years ago and never used. I never liked most of it.
All in all, I'm pleased with the outcome for a first go. I'll modify a couple of things on the next one, but I'm pretty satisfied with the overall design.
Thanks for lookin'!
