This is for today's Free for All challenge to use, patterned paper, a brad, at least one punch, and ribbon.
I liked the card style that Wendy used, as it fit so perfectly with this pretty dp I used. So Thanks Wendy for that idea. I was wondering how to use this pretty dp and your card was my inspiration.
This card opens at the top, using very thin magnets to keep it closed. This pretty dp is by Bo Bunny, the back side is just as pretty, but it's lavender with snowflakes all over. The punched part is just a strip of polka dotted dp by Doodlebug, that just happens to match the other pretty dp perfectly. I had been working with this pretty tissue paper, and that too just matched perfectly. The same goes for the pretty green ribbon. There's a brad in the flower, so I've fulfilled all of the requirements for today's challenge. The flower is done using the Spellbinders Peony nesties.
For the January part, I wanted that to match also, so I used the three main colors in ink and embossed that. This was cut with the long oval nesties. Of course I had to have the jewels to match too.
This card came together so easily, once again thanks to Wendy's card style for this challenge.
Okay, so this isn't a Christmas card, but at least there's snowflakes on the dp. It is Christmas dp.

This is so pretty. Love that paper. Love your multi colored sentiment Jennifer. What a beautiful flower. Reminds me of the tissue flowers Mario's family makes and puts them on the married couple's car.
