I created this card using the Shining the Light challenge over on ODBD (ODBDSLC40). I modified by turning the square behind the sentiment panel diagonally. I hope that is okay. I guess I will find out the hard way if they kick me out of their gallery - LOL
I loved this sketch. I thought it fit the sentiment stamp I used perfectly. The sentiment is also from ODBD and is from the Scripture Series I stamp set. I used the swiss dot CB EF to give some dimension to the background panels, and the DP is from K&Company. I added olive green ribbon which actually matches the olive green paper, but I think since the ribbon is shiny the scanner makes it appear darker than it is.
The card is for my son's girlfriend. She needs a verse that will bring a smile to her face and lift her spirits, as she is going through a difficult time right now.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I always appreciate your comments

No way would we ever kick you out, darlin'!!!!!! Sketches are merely a starting point....we have all 'taken liberties' with the challenges anyway! I love the paper you chose and the olive ribbon looks so yummy with it! Beautiful card!!! Thanks so much for being a part of our challenge again this week! God Bless!
